Who are we looking for:

As a Assistant Category Manager - Lay out , responsible for optimizing the stores selling space and managing rented areas within their specific product categories. This involves plotting of in store equipments layouts, managing layout-related projects, reviewing and analyzing store and racking performance to inform layout decisions, and overseeing the performance and relationships related to rented spaces within the store

  • Developing Display equipment strategies : Creating detailed blueprints for the placement ofshelves, displays, and fixtures within the selling area for their specific categories. This involvesconsidering product adjacencies, flow, visual appeal, and maximizing product visibility
  • Space Allocation: Determining the optimal amount of space to allocate to different sub-categories and individual products based on sales data, inventory levels, marketing plans, and seasonal trends.
  • Customer Flow and Experience: Designing layouts that facilitate a smooth and intuitive shopping experience for customers, guiding them through the category and highlighting key products.
  • Adherence to Brand Guidelines: Ensuring that category layouts align with the overall brand image and visual merchandising standards of the retailer and potentially specific vendor guidelines.
  • Compliance and Safety: Planning layouts that adhere to safety regulations, accessibility standards, and store operational requirements.

What does it take to be part of the team?

  • Bachelor's Degree Graduate at least in the field of Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce, or equivalent
  • An analytical mind with a strategic Ability to plan work and meet deadlines
  • With at least 3 years of proven supervisory level experience in a similar role, can handle and manage a team
  • Must have an AutoCAD background.
  • Knowledgeable in the end-to-end store lay out process
  • Has an excellent interpersonal skill
  • Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.
  • Good decision-making skills and Delegation skills
  • Must have excellent Written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Applications especially in Excel
