Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Structural/Civil Engineer or Architectural Draftsperson to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in producing high-quality design documentation, including tender issue design sketches, site plans, floor plans, roof drainage plans, and connection details, all in compliance with Australian standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in producing high-quality design documentation, including tender issue design sketches, site plans, floor plans, roof drainage plans, and connection details, all in compliance with Australian standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce tender issue design sketches, site plans, and floor plans with precision and accuracy.
- Develop roof drainage plans and connection details in alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with Australian standards and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to interpret design concepts and
- provide technical solutions.
- Review and revise drawings as needed to meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all design documentation.
- Stay updated on changes to Australian standards and best practices in drafting and design.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (for engineers).
- Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Drafting or related qualifications (for draftspersons).
- Proven experience in drafting, design, or engineering within the Australian construction or building industry.
- Familiarity with site plan development, floor planning, and detailing for structural or architectural projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting tools.
- Strong understanding of Australian building codes and standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
