Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.
Summary: As an Application Developer, you will engage in the design, construction, and configuration of applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, analyzing user needs, and implementing solutions that enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within the organization. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the applications are robust, scalable, and aligned with the overall business strategy. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices within the team to enhance overall performance. - Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application development milestones. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - Strong understanding of application development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with database management and SQL programming. - Familiarity with system integration and data migration processes. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV. - This position is based at our Manila office. Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required
