• Data Modeling: Design, develop, and maintain data models that support business intelligence and analytics needs.
• ETL/ELT Development: Build and optimize data pipelines, ensuring efficient and reliable data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, marketing) to gather requirements and ensure data solutions align with business goals. Partner with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Data Governance: Implement and maintain data quality standards and ensure adherence to data privacy and governance policies.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and queries for scalability and efficiency.
• Production Support: Provide ongoing rotational support for data infrastructure and address any issues or bugs in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines.

What we are looking for:

To be successful in this role you must…

• Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and design, ETL methodologies, and data modeling.
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Analytical mindset and excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Haves:

• Hands-on experience with Airflow and dbt is a big plus.
• Experience with Tableau or a similar visualization/dashboarding tool.
• Python programming for basic Airflow DAGs
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile environments, using tools like
• Jira for sprint planning and tracking progress
