AMMONIA OPERATOR

About the role

Sunpride Foods, Inc. is seeking an experienced Ammonia Operator to join our team in Mandaue City, Cebu. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. As an Ammonia Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of our ammonia refrigeration system, ensuring our food production processes run smoothly.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring and maintaining the ammonia refrigeration system to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
• Conducting regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of the ammonia system
• Responding to system alarms and malfunctions, taking appropriate corrective actions
• Maintaining detailed records and logs of system operations and maintenance activities
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and minimize risks
• Collaborating with the maintenance team to coordinate scheduled maintenance and repair work
• Providing training and guidance to junior operators to ensure consistent operational standards

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Ammonia Operator or in a similar industrial refrigeration role
• Strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration systems, including their operation, maintenance, and safety requirements
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues quickly and efficiently
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to make informed decisions in time-sensitive situations
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and operating procedures
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with personnel across different departments
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
