Aircon Technician

Job Summary

The Building Facilities Technician is Ability to fix things. Will handle building and equipment maintenance based on a schedule or need, aid in testing building security systems (FDAS, Smoke Detectors, Sprinklers, CCTV) and manage general facility maintenance activities. Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. electrical, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, civil works) as well as other tasks, as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection and miscellaneous assessments regarding preventive maintenance, malfunctions and needed repairs.
• Coordinate with contractors and employees regarding work-related concerns within the offices.
• Coordinate with the Security Department regarding Building Security and site emergency response.
• Coordinate/Liaison with local government unit and pertinent government agencies for the update of permits and licenses of the facilities.
• Will act as the Occupational Safety and Health and Pollution Control Officer of the facility.
• Perform minor electro-mechanical maintenance including but not limited to; replacement or repair of fixtures using the appropriate hand, power, and specialty tools.
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance including but not limited to; replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets or unclogging of drains, toilet bowls and pipeline.

Qualifications

• Must be amenable to work on-site in Makati.

Education:

• At least with Technical/Vocational courses relative to building maintenance

Experience:

• At least 3-6 years of pertinent experience in handling a building facility.
• In depth knowledge/experience in aircon maintenance
