We are currently searching for a talented and driven individual to join our MBPS Actuarial Function, US Retirement as an Actuarial Senior Manager. Established in 2012, the team has become an actuarial center of excellence, with over 200 staff and growing, along with increasing range and ownership of deliverables, specializing in Valuation, Liability and Asset Modelling, Experience Analytics, Pricing, and more.

Position Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the achievement of department projects and initiatives to drive process improvements and best practices.
- Provide relevant guidance to staff at all levels on actuarial concepts, modelling principles, financial reporting processes and technology.
- Build relationships and establishes a high level of credibility with Actuarial management across all Segments.
- Works closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely and quality service delivery based on specific needs of each service area within the book of work.
- Provide strong, proactive leadership and coaching to a team of actuarial professionals.
- Allocate and monitors work of the team to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments within the established timeframes and quality standards.
- Make decisions regarding employment, compensation, performance appraisals, training and development.
- Cultivate an innovative environment by supporting creativity and high performance teamwork.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field
- At least 10 years of actuarial work experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
- Associateship designation in any recognized actuarial organization (SOA, ASP), with meaningful progress towards Fellowship
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access), GGY AXIS, Qlikview, SQL, Python or similar program is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in applying actuarial concepts to independently model and analyze actuarial financial metrics
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, organize, and report information, results, and recommendations to various levels across the organization.
- Strong ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, for self and others.
- Able to work in an evolving and dynamic environment and resilient to pressure
- Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills and has demonstrated team collaboration

- Amenable to work UP Ayala Technohub (Quezon City)
- Amenable to work on a hybrid set-up (3x a week onsite)
