Job Summary

  • The Account Specialist position offers an excellent opportunity to prepare for a successful career as a Relationship Manager. This role is ideal for developing skills in client engagement and account management and contributing to delivering comprehensive financial solutions.

How will you contribute?

  • Responsible for handling the day-to-day transactions of clients
  • Manages the documetation and compliance and ensures that all required information are updated
  • Generate collateral business and deposits from clients and promotes other services of the bank
  • Solicit new, quality clients
  • Packages credit accomodations, and gathers all pertinent documents for credit accommodations.
  • Monitors loan/TR maturities
  • Monitors activity of borrowing and non-borrowing accounts

What will make you successful?

  • A graduate of any business and finance course.
  • Preferably with general banking experience but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Must have with background in credit/financial analysis
  • Ability to speak Nihongo would be advantageous but not required
  • Knowledge of banking practices as well as regulatory policies, systems and procedures
  • Has the ability to conduct and facilitate meetings effectively and interact with top management
  • Can remain calm during uncomfortable interactions with a small group or when faced with stressful situations
  • Hardworking, organized and results/target-oriented
  • Must detail-oriented and have keen sense and initiative in developing better systems or guidelines
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint
