About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will handle invoice processing, expense reports, vendor maintenance, 1099 preparation, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Process and code invoices, ensuring accurate approvals.
- Review and process expense reports and ACH reimbursements.
- Maintain vendor records, set up new vendors, and prepare 1099 forms.
- Generate payments (checks and ACH) and clear AP aging items.
- Assist with AP system implementations and support ad-hoc projects.
- Provide quality service to vendors and internal departments, resolving inquiries promptly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience with a stable employment history.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP).
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong team player with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
Work Schedule: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM PHT, Monday to Friday.
On-site: Located at the 2nd Floor of HAI Global Building Pryce Business Park, J.P. Laurel Ave., Bajada, Davao City.
