As An Accounts Payable Officer, You Will
- Extract, print and process supplier invoices and statements.
- Prepare EFTs and manage payment of suppliers in accordance with payment terms.
- Distribute invoices to Managers for approval and chase return thereof.
- Reconcile supplier statements, follow up outstanding invoices.
- Respond to supplier account queries and resolve any invoice discrepancies in a professional manner.
- Produce monthly AP reconciliation reports.
- Assist with month end closing reports and reconciliations.
- Process credit notes and customer claims
Non-negotiables
- Experience in administration or accounts payable.
- Understanding of spreadsheets and reconciliation procedures.
- Strong administrative and procedural skills.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets
