AP Accountant is responsible for the company’s Accounting and Financial reporting requirements. Responsibilities include invoice processing, maintaining vendor records, performing account reconciliations, maintaining accurate GL coding, and performing timely close processes. The role ensures the integrity of accounting information by properly verifying, analyzing, coding and maintaining records.

Essential Functions
- Processes, verifies, and audits vendor invoices, credit memos, & purchase orders
- Posts vendor invoices and credit documents in the accounting system
- Professionally communicates with vendors via email
- Professionally communicates with other Department Personnel for Authorizations and answer questions
- Researches and resolves vendor invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintains vendor electronic files and emails
- Prepares Vendor 3 Way Match Process and Other Approval Processes as Needed
- Reconciles vendor statements during the month for various vendors
- Resolves integration and billing issues as needed
- Provides daily reports as needed
- Assists in closing tasks for Accounts Payables
- Consistent and accurate month-end reconciliation and reports
- Performs other job assignments as needed
- Consistent interaction with Accounting Team Lead in analyzing transaction movements and in financial and variance analysis
- Prepares and processes ACH files and credit card payments weekly as assigned
- Sends vendor ACH payment details weekly via email
- Prepares backup packets for Weekly Payment Runs timely
- Earned degree in Management Accounting or Accountancy, required
- Minimum 5 years of experience with AP process with strong understanding of AP process is required
- A fast learner and an efficient multi-tasker
- Able to work effectively in a team setting environment
- Has working knowledge on Microsoft Excel and has strong skills on other basic computer programs and web usage
- Experience working with US companies is heavily preferred
- Attentive to details, organized, and good at analyzing information
- Able to work well independently with minimal supervision
- Flexible and detail oriented
- Work at Home position with main office in Ortigas City
- Willing to work mid-shift
