Accounting Supervisor

Duties

• Oversee the Finance and Accounting Department
• Overseeing daily transactions (e.g. accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations)
• Participate in regular tax and payroll audits
• Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues
• Manage month-end and year-end closing
• Review cash budgets and requirements, compare against actual spending, and investigate variances
• Recommend new or improved policies and work processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Analyze monthly sales data versus sales targets
• Prepare job descriptions for immediate subordinates and conduct job orientation to clarify job functions and expectations
• Administer the Performance Management System within the unit
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by management from time to time

Qualifications

• 5 years+ experience as an Accounting Supervisor
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with accounting software and manual setup
• Strong computer skills, especially in MS Excel (e.g., managing spreadsheets, creating charts, using advanced formulas
• Excellent analytical skills for managing and interpreting large volumes of data
• Strong team management and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all organizational level
• Accounting certification (e.g., CMA or CPA) is not mandatory but a plus
