Your Role:
As a Customer Service Representative you will play a crucial role in supporting the commissions process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of commission payments. This entry-level, data-focused role is responsible for preparing and uploading commission statements, clearing exceptions, making corrections when applicable, and handling accounting tasks in NetSuite. The role requires keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
- Prepare and process commission data that is incorporated into bimonthly commissions payments to Financial Advisors (12th and 27th) using a combination of Excel, NetSuite,
- and Terrapin/Pandia, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Clear exceptions for new policies, referencing Salesforce to verify and resolve discrepancies regarding customer details.
- Identify when policies or accounts are set up incorrectly and escalate as needed.
- Support data entry and validation tasks related to commissions processing.
- Support accounting functions by reconciling commission data and payments between NetSuite and Terrapin/Pandia.
- Collaborate with the U.S.-based team to address escalated issues or discrepancies.
- Perform ad hoc tasks related to commissions processing and accounting as needed
What You Need:
Non-negotiables
- College degree preferred, ideally in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP or accounting systems, preferably NetSuite.
- Excellent communication skills in the English-language, both written and verbal.
Preferred skills/expertise
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
