Basic Functions

Responsible for developing, establishing, maintaining and controlling the

general and cost accounting systems and related procedures; implementing the

Company’s budgetary systems; and preparing meaningful, accurate and timely

financial, management and budgetary reports.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
• With at least 2-5 years professional experience in general accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Has knowledge in SAP is a plus
• Willing to work in Makati
• Preferably from the same industry (Trading)

Specific Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates the implementation of the established
  
  

accounting systems and policies of the Company.

• Ensures the proper accounting treatment of business transactions, the
  
  

efficient maintenance of books of accounts and the proper documentation

of transactions.

• Supervises the timely preparation and submission of accurate financial and
  
  

management reports and their accompanying schedules, including the

monthly reconciliation of accounts.

• Prepares the Company’s budget, including the monthly analysis of budget
  
  

variances to determine reasons for budget overrun or underrun, and

submits monthly budgetary reports.

• Prepares quarterly and annual ITR; Reviews and approves
  
  

monthly/quarterly VAT and Withholding taxes returns

• Approves office and warehouse payroll, accounts payments vouchers,
  
  

journal vouchers and petty cash vouchers.

• Reviews landed costs/product costs to ascertain accuracy and
  
  

completeness of inventory costs.

• Reviews branch financial reports, i.e., financial statements, product costing,
  
  

cash receipts, disbursements, receivables and bank reconciliations and

prepares monthly report on the results thereof.

• Attends to examination of books of accounts and other reports in
  
  

connection with the external auditor and as required by government

agencies.

• Recommend, develop and maintain accounting data bases, computer
  
  

software systems and manual filing systems.

• Safeguards the integrity of confidential reports.
• Responsible for work performance, training and development of
  
  

personnel under his supervision.

• Performs other functions that may be assigned by the Management.
