We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at LV Philippines. The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
Job responsibilities
Job responsibilities:
- Vendor creation and accreditation in line with company procedures & requirements
- Vendor master data review and clean up
- Purchase Order (PO) monitoring including coordination with respective functions/departments
- Invoice processing and Invoice payment
- Vendor & bank coordination and payments issue resolution
- Tax filing, payment, and reporting and other external compliance requirements
- Month-end, Quarter-end, Year-end closing: accruals, variance analysis, and reporting
- Monitoring of operating expenses including coordination with respective functions/departments
- Internal and external audit support
- Internal controls and process improvements
- Ad hoc reports and analysis
- Back up support of the other accountant
- Other accounting projects and initiatives
Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
- CPA is a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
