Accountant - Accounts Payable

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team at LV Philippines. The Accountant will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.

Job Responsibilities

Job responsibilities:

• Vendor creation and accreditation in line with company procedures & requirements
• Vendor master data review and clean up
• Purchase Order (PO) monitoring including coordination with respective functions/departments
• Invoice processing and Invoice payment
• Vendor & bank coordination and payments issue resolution
• Tax filing, payment, and reporting and other external compliance requirements
• Month-end, Quarter-end, Year-end closing: accruals, variance analysis, and reporting
• Monitoring of operating expenses including coordination with respective functions/departments
• Internal and external audit support
• Internal controls and process improvements
• Ad hoc reports and analysis
• Back up support of the other accountant
• Other accounting projects and initiatives
  
  

Profile

Profile: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience. CPA is a plus but not required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite). Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy
