Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and general ledger entries
- Record, review, and reconcile daily transactions, including bank reconciliations
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Compute and file taxes (VAT, withholding taxes, and other statutory requirements)
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and government regulations
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
- Maintain organized accounting records and schedules
- Coordinate with other departments on financial matters
- Bachelors degree in Accountancy or related field
- CPA license is an advantage (or required, if applicable)
- At least 13 years of accounting experience (depending on level)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Work Environment:
- Office-based
- May require extended hours during month-end or audit periods
