Accountant

What you will do

As an accountant joining our team, you will be required to attend to the accounting and tax compliance needs of our clients. The main responsibilities of this role will include:

• Apply broad skillset across data and analytics to understand business problems, create insights and provide practical solutions
• Compilation of electronic workpapers and audit files in accordance with filing and naming conventions;
• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns of all entities;
• Preparation of business activity statements (BAS/IAS);
• Quarterly and annual tax compliance matters;
• Reconciliation of all general ledger accounts;
• Compilation of journal entries;
• Communication with Australian team members in respect of queries and review points;
  
  

What we are looking for

The role will suit an accounting graduate with a client-centric work style who is looking to begin their full-time career. Additionally, the successful candidate will have:

• BS Accountancy or equivalent graduates are required
• Keen to learn and be trained for Australian accounting and tax compliance
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills for communicating with our AU professional staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• A positive attitude and the desire to contribute to a high-performing team
• Impressive performance during tertiary studies
