Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join the team at Southern Arms Corporation'. This full-time role is based in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental and will play a key part in the organisation's financial accounting and reporting processes.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial analyses
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and controls

What we're looking for

• Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar financial accounting role
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and reporting standards
• Proficiency in using accounting software and data analysis tools
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate financial information effectively
