About the role
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Accountant to join our team at Golden Century Marketing. This full-time position is based in Cagayan de Oro Misamis Oriental. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the operations of our company, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely processing of payments and collections
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate record-keeping
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial data and analysis
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in the Distribution industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards
- Proficient in using financial software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
