- Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals for heavy equipment.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance to enhance performance and foster professional growth.
- Analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify trends, set sales targets, and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct regular training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques among team members.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and potential areas for improvement to senior management.
- Work closely with marketing, service, and logistics teams to align sales efforts with company objectives and ensure seamless operations.
- Accepts and performs such other functions as may be assigned by direct heads.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of proven sales experience.
- Previous experience managing a sales team, either as a sales supervisor or team lead.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for managing teams and liaising with clients.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and develop actionable insights to improve performance.
- Capable of resolving conflicts, addressing performance issues, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Managing team schedules, goals, and sales cycles effectively.
