Job Summary
- Handles and manages corporate and major personal accounts; prepares credit applications recommending credit packages, financing schemes and credit facilities for accounts solicited and handled.
- Responsible for the proper evaluation, analysis and regular review of the credit worthiness of new and existing trust loan borrowers for presentation to management, or the Board of Directors
- Ensures compliance with prescribed credit policies and procedures. Ensures complete and proper documentation for trust credit transactions.
- Ensures proper implementation of guidelines for group/employee loan facilities for provident and/or retirement fund accounts
- Establishes and annually renews credit facilities for corporate borrowers, negotiation of terms and conditions and preparation of recommendations for approval of the Board of Directors.
- Established and annually renews credit facilities for banks and other financial institutions.
- Performs evaluation of various investment outlets such as bond and equity issues.
- Responsible for the implementation of approved credits, documentation and review of collateral adequacy of borrowing accounts. Ensures sufficient funding and timely release of loan proceeds to borrowers upon availment and monitors compliance of the borrower with the terms and conditions of the approved credit facility and documentary requirements.
- Monitors client utilization of approved credit facilities. Informs clients of maturing obligations on a timely basis.
- Resolves problems, complaints and operational issues related to trust credit transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Industrial Management Engineering.
- Completion of the Trust Certification course preferred; training on KYC/AMLA requirements.
- Two (2) years industry experience in credit or trust
- Working knowledge of credit and financial analysis
