Job Summary

To lead the optimisation, creation and maintenance of the company’s 3D digital assets across multiple platforms, ensuring consistent accuracy, efficiency and presentation quality. This includes reducing and refining 3D seating model file sizes while maintaining perfect external form, dimensions and geometry; converting all existing DWG files into SketchUp and Revit formats; and developing, updating and expanding the OFML data used within the pCon product catalogue.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Have an extensive knowledge of the company, its aims, objectives and strategic direction
• Reduce and optimise 3D file sizes for all seating and furniture models while retaining perfect exterior detail, shape accuracy and dimensional integrity
• Convert existing DWG files into fully aligned SketchUp (.skp) and Revit (.rfa/.rvt) BIM models
• Create and maintain high-quality BIM models
• Create, manage and update OFML data for the pCon product catalogue
• Ensure all 3D assets follow internal standards
• Produce accurate BIM and SketchUp models
• Collaborate with Product Development and Marketing teams
• Maintain accurate 3D asset records
• Investigate new modelling workflows
• Liaise with external partners

Requirements

Skills and Attributed

• Extensive expertise in SketchUp and Autodesk Revit
• Strong BIM modelling knowledge
• Experience with OFML / pCon
• Strong AutoCAD proficiency
• Ability to create optimised 3D geometry
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Office365
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Flexible, self-motivated and deadline-driven
  
  

Qualification

Essential

• Degree in Product Design, Architecture, BIM or related field
  
  

Preferable

• Portfolio showing BIM, SketchUp or 3D work
  
  

Experience

• Minimum two years in product design, BIM or 3D CAD role
• Demonstrable Revit and SketchUp experience
• Preferable
• Experience with OFML / pCon
• Experience creating BIM content for manufacturers
• Knowledge of furniture industry standards
• Experience preparing 3D assets for marketing
