UCT is looking for a talented Supv, Production to join us in Philippines!

Job Summary:

• Plan and priorities workload in production. Prepare and communicate work plans. Delegates and oversee production and ensure outputs are adhering exactly to job specs provided. Plan employee training. Plan preventive maintenance to ensure downtime minimize.
  
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implementation of rules based on the handbook.
• Review daily job requirements based on the demands of the production line and deliveries.
• Observe and practice safety procedures and policies.
• Train production personnel with standard-and-above efficiency for a high-quality output.
• Responsible for maintaining quality standards.
• Oversee employee morale and positive relationships.
• Work and develop abilities of personnel.
• Ensures safe work practices, good housekeeping procedures and seeing they are adhered to.
• Responsible for having machines and/or equipment kept in good condition.
• Recommend changes or improvements in methods, equipment, handling or layout.
• Develops, tracks, and reports on production methods and results.
• Leading safety meetings, ensuring personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance, and investigating workplace accidents.
• Controls absenteeism, scrap and waste material.
• Provide updates and conduct yearly evaluation for personnel performance.
• Report to Manufacturing manager regarding any progress with the activity in production line.
• Ensures correct procedures are performed.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawing, must understand rotation, tolerance and angles.
• Working alongside the maintenance team to diagnose equipment malfunction, schedule repairs, and perform line changeovers.
• Relevant training and certification in industrial production, engineering, or any relevant field.
• Conduct 6’S before leaving the work area every end of the shift.
• Other duties may be assigned from time to time as required.
  
  

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree, associate’s degrees or vocational certifications in manufacturing technology, industrial management, or technical trades are highly valued.
• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or business administration.
• Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing, proficient in office software.
  
  

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum 4-year relevant experience
• Exposure to semiconductor industry preferred.
• Self-motivated and resourceful
• Possesses drive with “can-do” attitude.
• Capable of developing positive work relationship, a favourable work environment within the team and other functional group
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skill.
• Able to perform any other task assigned by manager / supervisor.
• Comply to work ethics and integrity.
