Job description
ABOUT THE JOB
Perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform across production and non-production environments.
Maintain the stability, availability, and usability of the platform by proactively monitoring system health and performance.
Perform application maintenance, including performance monitoring, error identification, troubleshooting, and issue remediation.
Manage platform incidents, investigate root causes, and coordinate timely resolution with development and infrastructure teams.
Lead and support ServiceNow platform upgrade planning, execution, patch management, and post-upgrade validation activities.
Administer instance security, including user, group, role, and Access Control List (ACL) management to ensure secure and compliant platform access.
Perform platform configuration, access management, and routine administrative activities to support business operations.
Provide configuration guidance and administrative support to ServiceNow developers and project teams.
Monitor platform health, identify opportunities for optimization, and recommend continuous improvements.
Ensure compliance with internal governance, security standards, and operational procedures.
Maintain system documentation, administrative procedures, and operational runbooks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile SAFe environment to deliver reliable platform services and continuous improvements.
Support cloud-based ServiceNow platform operations and ensure platform reliability in cloud environments.
ABOUT YOU
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related fields.
At least 5 years of experience in ServiceNow administration.
Proficiency with core ServiceNow modules, such as ITSM and CSM or HRSD, etc.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform administration, including: User, Group, and Role management, Access Control Lists (ACLs), Instance administration and security, Platform configuration and governance
Experience performing platform monitoring, performance tuning, application maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow upgrades, patch management, release support, and instance maintenance.
Experience supporting production incidents and maintaining platform stability and availability.
Expertise working within an Agile SAFe environment.
Experience working with cloud-based enterprise platforms.
Good understanding of ITSM processes, platform security best practices, and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
