Career Experience

Education Background:

  • Min. bachelor degree from Information Systems/ Finance / Business Studies/ Management or any related disciplines

Professional Experience:

  • 7-10 years of working experience at managerial level in Business Reporting related areas preferably from FMCG industry and /or Multinational Company.

Qualifications / Certifications:

  • Proven track record of managing reporting processes, data quality, and reporting tools (Excel, SAP Analysis for Office, Alteryx, BI Tools – Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with commercial curiosity and the ability to translate data into insights.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance BAU delivery with new demand, projects, and process improvements.

YOUR ROLE

As a Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and standardized business reports that support effective decision-making across the organization. You will ensure compliance with reporting standards and protocols, provide insights to Sales and other functions, and proactively collaborate with business users to resolve issues. In addition, you will identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, support automation initiatives, and help drive efficiency, accuracy, and consistency in reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting Delivery

  • Prepare and distribute standard reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and MS Excel in a timely and accurate manner

Report Development & Enhancement

  • Amend existing reports and build new reports by manipulating data with BI tools, Analysis for Office, MS Excel, or SQL connections. Support development and implementation of reporting improvement initiatives (e.g., automation, simplification)

Commercial Process Support

  • Support month-end closing, forecast, budget cycles, and daily/weekly reporting for assigned BU.

Data Management & Validation

  • Identify reliable data sources, extract, cleanse, and validate data required for reporting and analysis.

Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Prepare ad hoc reports and conduct initial analysis for end-users.

System & Project Support

  • Assist in reporting application upgrades, system enhancements, and reporting-related projects.

System Performance Feedback

  • Proactively monitor system performance, report availability, and data refresh schedules; provide regular feedback to ensure reliability.

Process Improvement

  • Provide insights and recommendations for reporting improvement, standardization, and simplification.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to execute reporting activities and resolve reporting/data issues.

Business Improvement

  • Identify area for improvement, develop improvement program and monitor the implementation to increase process efficiency, cost effectiveness, or increase productivity.

Cost Management

  • Prepare, monitor, and control the annual department budget to ensure expenditure is in line with the Business Plan.

Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)

  • Take responsibility for providing and managing a work environment that is safe and without risk to health by ensuring OHS policy, plans, procedures, induction, training and work instructions are followed. Ensure that hazard management including identification, assessment and control are undertaken
