Product Development Technician
The primary objective of the position is to provide technical assistance or support on the design and development of new product series and product engineering tasks.

Product Development Technician
The primary objective of the position is to provide technical assistance or support on the design and development of new product series and product engineering tasks.
About The Job
- Support on the 5-phase product development process, majorly on the prototype or equipment build, product and process launch. Ensure that operating characteristics of new designs are consistent with customer’s requirements and all applicable standards.
- Conduct laboratory tests under the direction and guidance of the product development engineer
- Ensure compliance with the standards
- Prepare technical reports. Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance and manufacturing personnel during the transition of a product from its design stage to the manufacturing floor. Participates on key projects by NPD or Product Engineering.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate degree, two-year technical/trade degree, or equivalent preferred
- Five to seven years of experience
- Proficient in MS Office
- Analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with CAD
- High attention to detail
