Post Trade Solutions PMO - Finance & Governance Lead

Role Purpose
This role extends beyond coordination into financial leadership and influence, ensuring that investment decisions, cost management, and portfolio execution are aligned to enterprise strategy and regulatory obligations.
We are seeking an experienced PMO Lead to support Post Trade Solutions (PTS), accountable for portfolio-level financial governance, data integrity, and strategic decision support across complex transformation programmes within LSEG PTS.
This role extends beyond coordination into financial leadership and influence, ensuring that investment decisions, cost management, and portfolio execution are visible to a senior audience.
What you’ll be doing
Financial & Commercial Expertise (Core Capability)
- Owns end-to-end portfolio financial management, including planning, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Applies deep understanding of:
- CapEx vs OpEx structures
- Accruals, depreciation, and cost baselining
- Leads portfolio variance analysis, identifying financial risks and opportunities proactively
- Oversees complex cost allocation models across multiple programmes
- Provides commercial insight into:
- Vendor cost structures
Portfolio Governance & PMO Excellence
- Leads delivery of portfolio-level governance packs for executive stakeholders
- Ensures high-quality:
- Reporting standards
- Milestone tracking
- Risk and issue management
Data, Tooling & Clarity PPM Mastery
- Acts as SME for Clarity PPM across financials, resource management, and reporting
- Owns portfolio data quality and integrity, ensuring alignment across all project inputs
- Drives standardisation of:
- Forecasting methodologies
- Reporting templates
- Leverages data to produce insight-led decision support
Stakeholder Influence & Communication
- Engages confidently with:
- Senior PMO & Project Managers
- Finance Business Partners
- Senior leadership forums
- Produces compelling executive-level narratives and governance materials
- Acts as a trusted advisor on financial and delivery matters
Capability Development
- Drives continuous improvement in PMO practices
- Builds capability in:
- Financial governance
- Tool usage (Clarity, Excel, reporting)
Delivery & Execution Excellence
- Ensures consistent, high-quality outputs under tight deadlines
- Drives accountability across portfolio teams
- Embeds discipline and accuracy in financial and governance processes
What you’ll bring
- Strong proficiency in:
- Clarity PPM
- Excel financial modelling
- Executive reporting
- PMO experience in financial services
