Role Overview

The Financial Reporting Manager holds a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the financial close across multiple entities. The role will be involved in the full financial reporting cycle, including journal entry preparation and review, GL analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

You will have an opportunity to:

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of financial reports, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Perform detailed financial statement review, including variance analysis and validation of supporting schedules
  • Ensure proper application and consistent interpretation of financial reporting standards (PFRS/IFRS) across all reporting entities
  • Coordinate with external auditors during interim and annual audits, ensuring timely resolution of audit issues and provision of supporting documentation
  • Strengthen and maintain internal controls over financial reporting processes and compliance requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Task-oriented and must be able to work beyond regular office hours if required.
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookup); proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
  • CPA is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and financial statement review
  • Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is an advantage
