Position: Legal Counsel

Office Location: UB Plaza - 18F Pasig (Headquarters)

Job Summary: The Legal Counsel conducts research and analysis of the organization's legal issues and provides legal advice to the different business units in the organization. Provide legal assistance to the various units and branches of the Bank and its subsidiaries, which encompass the legal review of contracts and legal advice on queries and questions covering the different fields of law in relation to the existing and future products and services of the Bank.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Conducts research and analysis of the organization’s legal issues
• Drafts and reviews contracts, agreements, memorandum, letters and other forms of understanding.
• Provides legal advice and guidance to the different business units of organization.
• Participates in crafting Bank's policies.
• Provides relevant legal education and guidance to the employees of the Bank;
• Creates legal document templates for the Bank;
• Assists Bank branches and units in exploring product and service development considering legal implications, as may be requested;
• Assists and support units in making Bank processes more efficient and effective, as may be requested
