Overview

University College London (UCL) is seeking a Research Fellow in Health Systems and Policy to join the Global Business School for Health (GBSH), based at the UCL East campus. GBSH is a pioneering institution focused on equipping future healthcare leaders to rethink and transform global health systems. It serves as a hub for cross-disciplinary innovation, uniting academic excellence with practical leadership development across the global health economy.

Roles

• Coordinating a multi-partner international collaboration,
• Contributing to key project workstreams,
• Advancing the wider Health Systems and Policy research agenda at UCL.
• Authoring research manuscripts,
• Contributing to funding applications,
• Organizing research-focused meetings and seminars,
• Convening the Health Systems and Policy thematic faculty cluster.
  
  

Requirements

• Hold a PhD in health systems, health policy, public health, global health, health economics, or a relevant social science discipline.
• Demonstrate a strong background in health systems research with an equity lens, particularly within low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).
• A solid understanding of current debates in health systems and policy is essential.
• Be able to contribute meaningfully to interdisciplinary research and teaching while aligning with GBSH’s mission of addressing global health disparities.
