We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Accountant to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company’s inventory records while ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
We are specifically seeking candidates who are available to join immediately or can start within a short notice period.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Accounting- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinate with GBS and FP&A teams to meet reporting requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements.
- Support legal and regulatory compliance activities.
- Perform inventory analysis, reconciliations, and monthly journal entries.
- Prepare reports on inventory movements, sales, and cost analysis.
- Set up product costs and transfer pricing in Oracle.
- Manage standard cost updates and annual inventory revaluation.
- Prepare inventory, gross margin, and working capital reports.
- Submit required corporate and regulatory reports.
- Support inventory budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Provide analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Review and validate inventory provision calculations.
- Prepare reports and recommendations for management.
- Plan and execute annual physical inventory counts.
- Reconcile count results and support audit requirements.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- At least 3 years of experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of PEZA and Customs regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using Oracle or SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are highly preferred.
