GS Sea Logistics Specialist - Confirm Vessel Departure

Job Purpose The Confirm Vessel Departure Sea Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all vessels depart as scheduled and that all necessary documentation and procedures are completed accurately and timely. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and confirm the departure of vessels according to the schedule.
• Coordinate with shipping agents, and other relevant parties to ensure all departure requirements are met.
• Verify and process all necessary documentation, including CTD no., container no., bills of lading, and export leg bundle key.
• Maintain accurate records of vessel departures and related documentation.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on vessel departure status.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to vessel departures promptly.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree holder
• 2-3 years logistics background
• Good communication skills
• Basic Knowledge with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Cognitive Skills and Attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Adaptable in a fast-paced industry
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Possessing a positive can-do attitude.
• Work on shifts (weekdays, weekends or public holidays) & overtime as needed
