Job Title: Expert – Sales, Spot Quotations


Job Location: Manila


In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the spot market quotation requests and maintain high standards of customer service. Also assist department head in service line projects and initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Independently work as individual contributor on quote requests for Air & Ocean freight cargo shipping (spot/ad hoc requirements from BC/MNC) as per Business requirement.
  • Collaborate with product pricing team (country/regional/global) for rate procurements, rate enhancements.
  • Timely engagements with Customer and relevant stakeholders (country commercial centers, stations, business partners) for quotation deliveries, in line with the agreed SOP.
  • Follow-up with customers case-to-case basis and take customer feedbacks on quotation win/loss status.
  • Document quote requests related information in internal tracker on real time basis, and ensure data quality.
  • Create performance reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) and share with Business Partner (BP) and management team.
  • Communicate with Business Partner (BP) regarding process updates on timely basis.
  • Manage change request rationally, in consultation with supervisor.
  • Keep supervisor updated on BAUs as well as non-BAU tasks/requests/ occurrences.
  • Take necessary approvals and keep SOP updated with any changes agreed on the process.
  • Meet & maintain agreed KPIs.
  • Work towards improving, maintaining high standards of customer service.
    • Participate in projects or initiatives assigned by the department head

Additional Skills / Abilities:


  • Able to demonstrate people management skills in absence of leadership.
  • Analyse collected data and participate in process improvement.
  • Contribute as a key point of contact for various projects as and when required.
  • Ensure compliance as per global guidelines, internal tool, procedures, and practices.
  • Must be able to analyse, communicate, facilitate, prioritize, escalate and resolve issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and creative bent of mind with proactive approach to business problem solving.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment to meet deadlines.


Required Qualifications:


  • Graduate (Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in any discipline)
  • 2-3 years of experience in Spot Quotation Domain.
  • Knowledge on Logistics.
  • Good Computer knowledge (words, excel, power point).
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
