Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Environmental Specialist to join Envi-comm Corporation. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our environmental programs are compliant with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate environmental performance across operations.
• Develop and implement environmental policies and practices.
• Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up to date with changes in environmental laws.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to assess environmental impact and compliance.
• Identify environmental risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare environmental reports and present findings to management and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and government agencies on environmental issues.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information related to environmental incidents, permits, and regulatory correspondence.
  
  

Skills And Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and standards, including DENR, EMB, and other relevant local and national regulatory bodies.
• Strong understanding of environmental impact assessment (EIA) procedures and reporting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to educate and influence staff on environmental practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in data analysis, environmental management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in preparing documentation for environmental permits and reports.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Professional License (e.g., Registered Environmental Planner or equivalent) is an advantage.
