About the Role

As a Customer Service Associate – Billing & Customer Care, you will handle inbound customer interactions related to billing, products, services, pricing, and account inquiries. You will resolve customer concerns professionally, identify opportunities to retain customers, promote relevant products and services, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while consistently meeting quality and performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle customer requests related to billing, products, services, pricing, customer service issues, and competitive offers.
  • Resolve customer concerns while communicating the benefits and value of products and services.
  • Answer inbound customer calls and provide customized solutions that meet customer needs while achieving quality and KPI targets.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, integrity, and strong customer service skills during every interaction.
  • Promote and upsell products and services while processing customer orders accurately.
  • Regularly review knowledge management resources to stay up to date on new products, offers, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow established call flow procedures and customer service standards.
  • Resolve billing inquiries and service discrepancies while following approved billing procedures and credit guidelines.
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide appropriate resolutions.
  • Support departmental initiatives and special projects as assigned.
  • Follow all workplace health, safety, and security policies while maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Deliver outstanding service by responding promptly to both internal and external customer needs.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Senior High School Graduate required.
  • Post-secondary education is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a call center or contact center environment is preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and achieve first-call resolution.
  • Consistent performance in meeting quality and operational KPIs.

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Billing, sales, or telemarketing experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot customer concerns independently.
  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional attitude with a customer-first mindset.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute positively to the team.
  • Experience with Google Workspace applications is an advantage.
  • Strong PC navigation and data entry skills.
  • A basic understanding of broadband, telecommunications, cable, or internet services is preferred.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a 24/7 operational environment.
