Essential Job Skills/Duties
- Leads performance improvement initiatives across the business
- Drives Lean Six Sigma culture and problem-solving mindset
- Trains and coaches teams on CI tools and methodologies
- Shares best practices and manages CI maturity framework
- Provides leadership on organizational initiatives
- Leads and supports cross-functional projects
- Partners with Finance to track project financial impact
- Reviews projects to ensure alignment with objectives
- Applies Lean Six Sigma to challenge and improve processes
- Promotes behavioral and operational change
- Lean methods including 5S, SMED, and Kanban.
- Six Sigma problem solving and DMAIC.
- Process mapping and root cause analysis.
- Statistical analysis using Excel or Minitab.
- Data visualization and KPI dashboards.
- Structured experimentation and DOE basics.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication.
- Facilitation of cross-functional workshops.
- Influence without authority across teams.
- Bias for action and measurable outcomes.
- Stakeholder management and follow-through.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BSECE, BSEE, BSME, BSMetE, BSMatE preferred)
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a consumer electronics manufacturing setup (Engineering, Manufacturing, or equivalent) or in a service industry as a training specialist or similar role
- Experience in regulated environments.
- Multi-site improvement deployment experience.
- Lean practitioner or equivalent training.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- May lead project teams and kaizen cohorts.
- No direct hire authority expected.
- Travels:
- % of Time: Up to 20%.
- Overnight Travel: Occasional, as project needs dictate.
