Job Description

This role for the Growth Business expansion for Debt Corporate Actions Offering. The Corporate Actions team work on collection and maintenance of high-quality data across a wide range of financial markets and asset classes. Analysts are required to source information from public domains/defined contributors and ingest/enter the information into database using proprietary collection methodology including the benefit information. This information is time critical and requires to be processed within the set timeline and quality parameters. Candidates will be treated fairly and equally in terms of merits and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and maintain data/information accurately and in a timely manner onto databases using financial (fixed income) and technical knowledge.
  • Take responsibility for data quality, timeliness, and completeness, this includes root cause analyses and preventive measure implementation.
  • Research new and review existing sources to ensure that metrics are improved.
  • Promote continuous improvement through research and analysis of queries/data quality control and seek efficiencies in work practices to achieve automation where possible!
  • Test new database/application releases where appropriate, providing accurate user feedback.
  • Build up knowledge of financial regulations and market practices in relevant markets and Monitor market events to anticipate the changes.
  • Daily Update of reports/timesheets/production reports
  • Research and respond quickly to all client issues, adhering to quality goals for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
  • Communicate with colleagues.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Good communication
  • Basic Knowledge in Fixed income securities and life cycle
  • Knowledge on MS Office applications
