We're Hiring: Chief Operating Officer!
Our client, a local pharmaceutical company that is 34 years in existence, is in need of a Chief Operating Officer (COO). The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is accountable for the overall operations of the business. The role ensures operational excellence, optimal performance, and the effective execution of strategic initiatives. The COO bridges strategy and execution by fostering cross-functional collaboration and driving measurable results.
Location: Pasig, Philippines
Work Mode: Flexible office & remote

What You'll Do:
Operational Leadership
- Manage daily business operations across:
- Sales and Marketing Operations
- Commercial Excellence – Salesforce Effectiveness and Sales Training
- Supply Chain and Fulfilment
- Customer Service
Performance Management
- Establish operational goals and performance metrics.
- Monitor productivity, service levels, and operational efficiency.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Supply Chain and Distribution Management
- Ensure product availability and inventory optimization.
- Oversee procurement, warehousing, logistics, and distribution.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers.
Regulatory and Quality Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Storage Practice (GSP), and pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance teams.
People Leadership
- Lead department heads and operational teams.
- Develop operational talent and succession pipelines.
- Promote a culture of operational excellence and accountability.

Skills & Qualifications
- At least 20 years' of total experience in the pharmaceutical industry, 5 years of which were spent holding a division head or Business Unit Head role
- Has strong experience in sales, marketing, commercial excellence, business development and supply chain management
- With strategic planning, strong operations management and performance management experience
- Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.
- Has successfully delivered revenue growth in past roles.
