Responsibilities

Team Introduction
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the ByteDance business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science. GBS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and ambitious client group, and our HRBPs who support them are too! We are excited to continue adding to our Human Resources team to attract, engage, and retain top talent to drive the continued growth of the organization.

As a project intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in impactful short-term projects that provide you with a glimpse of professional real-world experience. You will gain practical skills through on-the-job learning in a fast-paced work environment and develop a deeper understanding of your career interests.

Responsibilities

• Use internal tools to write visual queries and generate custom reports.
• Analyze campaign performance and support revenue reporting.
• Present insights and trends from data to guide campaign strategy.
• Assist Brand Partnership Managers in allowlisting ad accounts and campaign URLs, especially for alpha and beta product testing.
• Track allowlist status and ensure timely approvals.
• Shadow client meetings and take accurate meeting minutes.
• Maintain and manage the team calendar, scheduling recurring meetings.
• Support task tracking and drive follow-ups for Team Lead.
• Coordinate internal alignment for product hitlists.
• Apply and submit hitlist requests for new product testing or feature adoption.
• Serve as a Product and Data Champion for quarterly strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with the broader team to collect inputs, track progress, and report on outcomes.
• Submit reservation quotes and assist Brand Partnership Managers in deal execution processes.
• Liaise with F&B vendors and GBM (Global Business Marketing) for team and client events.
• Assist Team Lead with the creation of presentations and documents for strategic planning and leadership meetings.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Communications, or a related field.
• Fluent English speaker and working proficiency in Chinese for better communication with Chinese teams and global clients.
• We hope the candidate can start as soon as possible, work under RTO4 arrangement and stay for a minimum of six months.
• Strong analytical skills with a passion for working with data.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
• A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to multitask and work independently.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with BI tools or SQL.
