We are looking for a Bilingual Spanish Recruiter based in the Philippines to support high-volume recruitment across global operations, with a primary focus on US-based accounts, in a work-from-home setup.
The Bilingual Spanish Recruiter will be responsible for supporting end-to-end recruitment activities, including candidate resume screening, conducting interviews in Spanish and English, candidate engagement, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
This role is offered on a project-to-permanent basis. The selected candidate will initially support recruitment initiatives under a project-based arrangement, with the potential for regular employment based on performance, operational requirements, and business needs. A work-at-home opportunity for candidates located in the Philippines who are comfortable working overnight hours aligned with US business needs.
Essential Functions
- Screen and qualify Spanish-speaking candidates for global hiring requirements, with a primary focus on US-based roles, using the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job boards, referrals, social media, and other sourcing channels.
- Conduct phone screenings and interviews primarily in Spanish while communicating effectively in English with hiring managers, recruiters, and stakeholders.
- Cold call prospective candidates and build strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing activities.
- Review resumes, assess candidate qualifications, language proficiency, and overall fit based on client and role requirements.
- Evaluate candidates' verbal and written Spanish proficiency while ensuring they meet job qualifications.
- Manage high-volume candidate pipelines while maintaining accurate and updated records in the ATS.
- Build strong candidate relationships through professional communication via phone, email, text, and other approved channels.
- Complete scheduled candidate interviews while balancing quality, productivity, and speed-to-hire metrics.
- Move qualified candidates through the recruitment process from initial contact through offer and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with recruitment leaders and hiring managers supporting US and global recruitment initiatives to understand hiring needs and workforce priorities.
- Support onboarding requirements, documentation, background checks, and compliance with applicable hiring guidelines.
- Ensure all applicable compliance and regulatory guidelines are met.
- Meet weekly hiring goals and contribute to team recruitment performance metrics.
- Perform other recruitment-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Recruitment experience is preferred, ideally in a high-volume or fast-paced environment.
- Candidates without recruitment experience are welcome to apply provided they have a strong bilingual Spanish background in the BPO industry, customer service, sales, technical support, interpretation, or a related field.
- Advanced to native-level Spanish proficiency (spoken and written) is required.
- Professional English communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with global stakeholders and hiring managers.
- Ability to conduct interviews and communicate confidently in both Spanish and English, with Spanish serving as the primary language for candidate interactions.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is an advantage but not required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Languages, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions, priorities, and deadlines in a high-volume recruitment environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, attention to detail, and professionalism.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Schedule and Work Setup
- Work-from-home setup for candidates based in the Philippines.
- Must be available to work during US business hours (overnight PH time).
- Must be flexible to work shifting schedules, weekends, extended hours, and Philippine/US holidays when business requires.
- Must have a stable work-from-home environment, a headset, and a wired internet connection with a minimum 25 Mbps plan.
