Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Brand Operations Associate.

The Associate’s primary function shall be handling of (1) Special Events: regular barangay fiestas, school fairs, sports events, seasonal events with/out media values (Easter, Halloween), professional event organizers, minor festivals (e.g. Higantes, Pahiyas, Lechon Festival) and (2) Consumer Promotions: sampling, selling, redemption sampling in key accounts, public markets, schools, offices and other relevant venues; (3) Maximization of Grab ‘n Go trucks/events vans and involve in Brand Love selling opportunities. As an Assistant, he/she shall also be tasked for creative execution of Cat 3 stocks and trigger immediate move-out for Cat 4 stocks, full ownership on omnibus category and corporate plans (omnibus merch & OOH), exposure to develop product and market knowledge (product tasting & backyard surveys) and report generation (internal sales and market & competitive reports). The purpose of the position is to evaluate and process event sponsorship requests and consumer promotions and mobilize the project initiatives of the department.

What are the Roles and Responsibilities?

  • Administrative task: Meeting Deadlines and report preparation and project monitoring and Process Special Assignment.
  • Manage project for Consumer Promotions and SE-Creations. Manage SE-Sponsorships assignments (ensure participation in on-strategy events and within the acceptable timeline)
  • Supervise agencies in implementing projects
  • Engagement to Target Market through BTL activations. Mobilize Trade conventions based on the set guidelines of the company and in compliance to the accounts' policies. Collaboration and synergy efforts
  • Equal opportunities for different brand categories to be highlighted in cross-category activations, Brand Love and Grab 'n Go trucks/vans
  • Brand image and corporate image: exposure in the right market and channel and ensure safety of operations
  • Moveout of ageing stocks through sampling, donations, and creative execution if applicable
  • Execution of Omnibus Merchandising and OOH plans
  • Execution of internal product tasting and backyard surveys
  • Facilitate/monitor reports (Monthly Sales Monitoring Reports; Monthly OFR reports), Nielsen Market Share and Distribution, Tracking of Competitive Activities, Price Audit Fieldwork and Pricing Structure Update

What are the Qualifications?

  • College graduate preferably with Marketing subjects
  • With 1 to 3 years of work-related experience
  • Communication & Presentation Skills
  • Communication & Presentation Skills
  • With good interpersonal skills, creative, willing to do fieldwork and to work long hours
  • Has good planning and organizational skills
  • Computer literate; Fit to do strenuous physical activities
  • Preferably knows how to drive (manual & automatic transmission vehicles)
