Context of the role

Reporting to the Global Head of Workplace Experience & Travel, this role is responsible for the smooth daily operations of our Manila office. You will play a key role in creating a positive, engaging, and productive environment for all employees.

This is a fully office-based position.


Responsibilities:


Office Management

  • Ensure the office is well-maintained, efficiently run, and compliant with local regulations.
  • Manage landlord relationships, lease renewals, budgeting, office refurbishments, and vendor contracts.
  • Oversee daily office operations such as stationery and pantry supplies, courier services, access cards, and lockers.
  • Monitor and implement health and safety measures in line with local laws.
  • Act as liaison with building management and service providers.
  • Provide receptionist coverage as needed.
  • Process workplace invoices and support the monthly recharge process in coordination with Finance.


Workplace Experience

  • Develop and implement strategies to create an inspiring and collaborative workplace experience.
  • Promote the office as a preferred work location by designing initiatives that support productivity, culture, and connection, in line with Thunes’ values.
  • Ensure the office environment fosters collaboration, teamwork, and employee engagement.
  • Plan and coordinate employee events, activities, and experiences tailored to the Manila office.
  • Support CSR initiatives in the Manila office - identifying opportunities for community involvement, employee volunteering, and sustainability actions.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in office management and/or workplace experience roles.
  • Proven vendor negotiation and management skills.
  • Experience in CSR initiatives and/or community engagement is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Experience working in multicultural or international environments is highly valued.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teams and functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Gmail, and Google Docs.
