Position Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Taguig / San Pedro Warehouse
Department: Warehouse Department
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor

Job Overview: The Warehouse Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring efficient workflow, and leading a team of warehouse associates. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on safety, and a commitment to meeting productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:

• Supervise and motivate warehouse staff to achieve daily goals.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and support.

1. Operational Management:

• Coordinate daily activities and manage the workflow of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure accurate inventory management and reporting.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to safety protocols and warehouse policies.
• Performs other tasks as may be assigned by immediate supervisor

1. Training and Development:

• Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety practices.
• Identify training needs and facilitate ongoing development for team members.

1. Quality Control:

• Inspect and verify the accuracy of shipments and inventory levels.
• Address and resolve any discrepancies or quality issues promptly.

1. Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving efficiency and productivity.

1. Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, inventory levels, and staff performance.
• Prepare and submit regular reports to management regarding operational metrics.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Proficient in using warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and safety practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.

Working Conditions:

• May require working evenings, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs and extended work hours.
• Exposure to warehouse conditions, including temperature variations and noise.
