We are seeking an experienced Warehouse, Logistics & Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of warehouse operations and inventory management in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and carry out the responsibilities detailed below:
- Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring accurate inventory records in SAP and performing regular cycle counts to maintain data integrity.
- Managing all logistics operations, including booking transportation for imports and exports and coordinating with forwarders to handle inbound and outbound shipments efficiently.
- Optimizing logistics processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency while maintaining service quality.
- Supervising warehouse staff, leaders, and supervisors, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and balancing internal customer requirements while ensuring adherence to safety rules and company policies.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring procedures to continuously improve warehouse operations for greater efficiency and effectiveness, applying lean principles where possible.
- Tracking KPIs, leading improvement initiatives, and ensuring continuous improvement across all warehouse activities.
- Generating and presenting weekly and monthly performance reports, providing findings and recommendations to management regarding inventory accuracy and operational improvements.
- Working closely with sourcing, production, and QA teams to coordinate inventory needs and processes, aligning warehouse operations with overall business strategy.
- Participating in planning meetings as needed to help maintain ideal inventory levels that support production and customer demands.
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management and logistics in a manufacturing setting with proven expertise in inventory control processes and practices.
- Be highly familiar with SAP ERP systems, especially inventory and logistics modules, with a strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and their integration with SAP.
- 7+ of experience leading a mid-sized team, with proven ability to motivate, hire, train, and assess staff performance.
- Have experience developing and implementing effective warehouse policies and procedures.
- Be knowledgeable about PEZA and BOC regulations for import and export operations; experience with 3PL providers is a plus.
- Bring strong analytical skills to interpret data for decision-making; Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt or higher) is an advantage.
- Be familiar with all safety requirements related to warehousing and logistics operations.
