We are seeking a skilled Desktop Virtualization Engineer to The candidate will be responsible for the management and support of virtual desktop environments across VMware Horizon, Citrix, and Windows 365 platforms. The role is critical to ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient virtual workspace delivery to end-users globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and maintain desktop virtualization environments using VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, and Microsoft Windows 365
  • Support provisioning and lifecycle management of Cloud PCs (W365)
  • Manage images, profiles, and application packaging across all platforms
  • Perform system health checks, patching, and updates to maintain platform stability
  • Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to incidents
  • Ensure security baselines, access controls, and compliance standards are met
  • Collaborate with IT support, network, and security teams to deliver seamless end-user experiences
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, SOPs, and change records
  • Participate in after-hours support rotations and incident response as needed

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in desktop virtualization and end-user computing
  • Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon (instant clones, UAG, DEM)
  • Strong knowledge of Citrix (Studio, Director, StoreFront, Citrix Cloud)
  • Experience managing Windows 365 Enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of profile management, GPOs, and FSLogix
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and VPN configurations
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • ITIL or ServiceNow experience is a plus
