Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to help our clients manage the company’s payroll processes and provide support in recruitment and employee relations.


Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll while ensuring precise time tracking and accurate pay calculations.
  • Reconcile payroll and billing records to uphold financial accuracy.
  • Address client billing inquiries by providing clear explanations and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Communicate with caregivers to resolve payroll issues, including missing hours and other compensation concerns.
  • Prepare financial reports, such as payroll summaries, billing statements, and expense tracking records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align payroll and financial procedures with company policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of workers' compensation and insurance transactions.
  • Ensure adherence to company financial procedures and reporting requirements.


Requirements

  • College educated (accounting-related course is preferred)
  • Must have strong proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop versions)
  • Candidates must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring
  • Candidates must provide a proof of separation from their previous/current employee with an indication/confirmation of their last date of employment
  • Must be comfortable with using Hubstaff, a time-tracking application
  • Professional-level English (written and verbal/voice)
  • At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including V-Lookup)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop preferred)
  • Experience using payroll software (ADP is preferred but not required)
  • Experience using any Customer Relationship Management tool is a plus
  • Computer or laptop with access to the internet (min speed of 25 Mbps)


Hardware Requirements

  • At least a 720p HD Webcam.
  • A noise-canceling headset.
  • At least a 25mbps primary internet connection.
  • A backup laptop, backup internet connection device, and backup power supply in case of power outage and emergencies.
  • Minimum recommendation for your main computer: Intel Core i5 or equivalent with 8 GB RAM or higher
  • Minimum recommended for your backup computer: Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM
