ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Video Editor to join our creative marketing team. This role is critical to our content production pipeline as we work towards scaling to $1 million in monthly revenue and expanding our social media presence. You’ll collaborate closely with the creative team, applying storytelling and creative techniques to craft ads that resonate with specific audience demographics.


This is a performance-driven role, with bonuses available for videos that perform well in marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in direct response video editing, particularly for e-commerce brands, and proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. While 3+ years of experience is preferred, your portfolio and submitted test entry will be the most critical factor for evaluation.

This role offers flexibility in working hours with daily deadlines for video content.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce high-quality, conversion-focused video ads for Meta, YouTube, and TikTok using in-house, UGC, and other creative assets.
  • Use storytelling techniques to engage specific audiences and enhance brand resonance.
  • Conduct research to understand audience needs and behaviors.
  • Tailor video content to platform trends and optimize for engagement.


Note: Experience in direct response video editing (e.g., VSLs) is a plus but not required.


REQUIREMENTS

Technical Skills:

  • 3+ years in video editing, including 1+ years focused on e-commerce.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience creating video ads for Meta, YouTube, and TikTok.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong storytelling, creativity, and adaptability.
  • Collaborative mindset and effective communicator.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay up-to-date with digital trends.


TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

To effectively perform in this role, you’ll need:

  • Computer: Minimum 6-core CPU, dedicated GPU, and high-speed SSD or NVMe storage (no HDD).
  • Internet: 50+ Mbps download/upload speed.


COMPENSATION & GROWTH

  • Starting Salary: $1,000 per month (negotiable based on skills and test performance) + performance bonuses.
