Why this role exists
We are seeking a Video Editor to create compelling and engaging content that advances our client's mission of disability advocacy and education. This role is crucial for developing effective TikTok content that connects with audiences and helps expand the organization's reach and impact. The position requires someone who can combine technical video editing skills with sensitivity to the mission while maintaining a professional and stable work approach.

The Impact you’ll make

Video Content Creation

• Edit and create engaging TikTok videos using AI tools and Canva


• Model and replicate successful viral video formats


• Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging


• Implement creative video strategies to increase engagement

Digital Shop Management

• Support TikTok shop operations


• Manage merchandise-related content


• Create promotional video content for products


• Track performance metrics

Community Engagement

• Assist in communication with influencers


• Support engagement with families served by the organization


• Help maintain professional relationships with stakeholders


• Create content that resonates with the disability community

General Support

• Handle various administrative tasks


• Support merchandise management


• Assist with digital content organization


• Contribute to overall mission success

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of video editing experience, specifically with social media content


• At least 1 year of experience with AI editing tools and Canva


• Minimum 1 year of TikTok platform experience and demonstrated understanding of trends


• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)


• Proven track record of working independently and maintaining professionalism


• 6+ months experience in merchandise or e-commerce preferred


• Demonstrated history of stable, long-term employment

What to expect...


Work Setup:

• Remote position


• Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace


• Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time)


• 40 hours a week

Compensation:

• $7 per hour
