We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, HR Quality Control Lead - Hybrid based in Manila, Philippines. The QC Lead role is a senior level position responsible for leading the Quality Control efforts of Human Resources cases. This role will oversee the Quality Control monthly review for discipline, performance and other related cases. The QC Lead will partner closely with our global HR Business Partnership and Delivery organization to provide guidance and support to ensure adherence to the Global QC procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Quality Control initiatives, projects, process improvement efforts, and ensure training completion for the team.
  • Steer Quality Control global initiatives in partnership with the operational model and global processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to HRP&D partners to meet their quality goals and create awareness and focus on quality.
  • Discuss strategic topics, progress of initiatives and action plans, results and metrics with stakeholders including Cluster Senior Management.
  • Provide expert problem management support for difficult or complex issues, ensuring root-cause analysis is conducted, solutions are implemented, and lessons learned are applied for future benefit.
  • Ensure consistent application of team process controls and adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Create or support Quality Control process and training documents, with a continuous focus on simplification by identifying opportunities and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Identify quality-related issue trends and partner with management and respective technical teams to implement solutions.
  • Partner with Risk and Control and Disciplines on issues to ensure appropriate risks are assessed and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

The ideal candidate will have the following education, knowledge, and experience:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of industry standards and practices
  • Experience partnering across multiple regions and ability to deliver in a global organization
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to collaborate, coordinate and execute with the broader HR teams
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Possess strong team building and project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
